Your questions.
Is it really free?
Yes. Joining and creating rooms is free. Later, an optional Pro plan will add personal reports after each session.
What level do I need to start?
A2 and up: you can introduce yourself and talk about your daily life in simple sentences. Not sure of your level? A quick test guides you when you sign up.
Do I need to install an app?
No. Parlotte works in the browser on your phone or computer. All you need is a microphone, and headphones if you can.
Do I have to turn on my camera?
No, the camera is optional. Many people prefer audio: it's more relaxed and uses less data.
What happens in a session?
3 to 5 people at the same level, 30 minutes, one topic. The room shows one question at a time and a timer, so everyone gets time to speak.
What if I'm shy?
It's made for you. Everyone is there to learn, and small groups give you time to speak without pressure.
How do you keep it safe?
Verified accounts, respect rules accepted at sign-up, a report button in every room, and removal of accounts that break the rules.
